HSBC offers the following mortgage products:

  • Capital Repayment Mortgage: In this mortgage our monthly repayments covers the interest and also some of the initial loans. In HSBC Bank if all the payments are made then the interest and mortgage will be fully repaid.

  • Interest Only Mortgage: In this mortgage the monthly payments only cover the interest incurred on the loan. The initial money borrowed will be outstanding during the term of the loan and we are responsible to repay the amount.

  • Home Start Mortgage: In this mortgage payments are lower at the beginning of the mortgage which means that we have more flexibility in our life.

  • Variable Rate: In this mortgage there are no charges for making overpayment and also there are no early repayment charges. The policy of HSBC is that to amend its rate so that it will not be more than 1% above the Bank of England Base Rate

  • Fixed Rate: In this mortgage repayments are constant each month during the fixed rate period and these are not affected by changes to the Bank of England Base Rate.

  • Pension Mortgage: In this mortgage if we pay the amount in the pension plan then we can repay it at the retirement.
